Trip tp BC

I know it has been over a month since we went but I still really wanted to share about how it went and how wonderful it was.

We were there for 6 days and it seems we were busy everyday. We did not get to see as many people as I would have liked. Unfortunately we missed out on seeing most of our friends. It was hard because my aim was to spend as much time with my Grandparents as possible and with that and a few fund things it left little time for anyone else. I won't say I regret it though because my grandparents are so important to me and I have been missing them a lot. they are getting pretty old and both feel that their time is coming soon. Since we will not be out again for aver a year I wanted to make sure I took this time to be with them and it was wonderful.

Everett was a great little traveller on the way to BC. He played well during our layover in Calgary and then slept from Calgary to BC. The trip home was another story, but I am still proud of him. Rawley is almost always a good traveller and with his ds this tie we flew he was more than entertained

Rawley was so happy to be reunited with his Papa. They got to spend a fair bit of time together too. My dad got a new pool table since we moved so Rawley had so much fun with that. He played pool with Papa and his friend Jacob who came over to visit.
I was over the moon when I got to meet my little niece Maisie. She is just the most beautiful little girl and I am so happy that I have a little girl to spoil now. The only sad part is that I will not get to have as many cuddles with her as i would like, but facebook sure makes it easy to watch her grow.

Everett played shy a bit, but eventually warmed up to Auntie Merry.

What I found amazing was that Everett played shy with almost everyone but my grandparents. He was so calm around them and at their house. It was great. Grandma of course got down on the floor with him, and picked him up to watch the birds. He really liked her.

Rawley and Owyn had a blast together. They were so loud and crazy.

My awesome little nephew Owyn, who is not so little anymore, and his new baby sister. So sweet.

Bird watching from the window. Grandma and Grandpa have lots of birds and squirrels in their yard.

Hard to believe that Everett was smaller than Maisie when he was born.

Second cousins (i think) Spencer 8 months and Everett 10 months. They played good until Everett got a little grabby. Spencer was not cool with Everett grabbing his face and pulling his diaper shirt.

Papa and Everett chilling on the floor, Everett had a little 10m minute power nap here and then was good to go for a couple more hours.

Rawley and Everett watching the dauphin show from below. It was too rainy to go outside.
Dinner at Red Robins on Robson Street Vancouver.

Grandpa and Everett saying good-bye

And just like that our trip was over. I am so glad we went though. I love where I live and would never move back but I do miss my family so being home was a great treat for me. Love you all.
